Zhou Xun for L'Officiel China March Issue

Chinese Actress Zhou Xun (周迅) is featured on the cover of the March issue of L'Officiel China.

Her pictorial is titled "Legend of Great Times". The pictorial portrays her with a sort of tough vibe with shaped silhouettes and leather. It's such a contrast since her cover photo is anything but tough.

Overall I'm alittle disappointed with this. Is it just me or does anyone else think that the background lighting and skyline etc all seems alittle tacky? It's such an overworked idea that it's boring. But I do love her outfit she wore on the cover.

Leather & Lace

Oh my goodness. Its like totally like London Fashion Week! Oh what i wouldn't give to be in London right now. Sighs. Anyways, the Christopher Kane show has caught my attention. All that amazing detail. Embroidery on leather! It works sooo well! I never really thought about lace and leather together but the fabric contrast looks amazing. The colourful, delicate flower patterns stands straight out from all the black. The simple silhouettes keeps the collection so very chic. The eccentric colours and embelishements remind me of peacocks and India. Also, there are literally "Y-fronts" in lace on some of the dresses which gives a quirky touch. With all the girly flowery prints and lace going around last season, this collection certainly gives a new refreshing trend.

I've kinda decided to restart writing on this again. lol. Not sure if this is back for definite though... haha. My motivation may die again... i think my layout needs a new look
